You can take part in the critical process of designing and creating your special landscape, based on your needs and desires.

Take the guesswork out of what plants you need to purchase and where to place them within your unique landscape.

Our design service is set up to provide you with the tools you need to implement a professional design as your time and budget allow.

As a separate service, we do offer plant installation for one plant or for many, based on your installation wishes, and we continue to offer our delivery service at a reasonable cost.

The design process

At the initial meeting with your landscape designer, you will be asked to bring your completed questionnaire (available at the garden center or online), photos of landscapes you may like, measurements of the design area if possible, and any questions you may have about the design process. Feel free to bring pictures or ideas to this meeting. a 50% deposit of scheduled design costs will be required, as well as a signed proposal for landscape design.

When a preliminary design is complete (usually in a couple of weeks) you will again meet with your landscape designer who will show and explain the design to you. at this time, you may ask for minor modifications or suggestions for alternative choices. after this meeting, a final design will be completed (usually within a week) and you will be asked to schedule a time to have your final design presented to you. if possible, final design consultations are held at the garden center location to allow the client to view selected plants for their design as well as hardscape products.

Our design service includes

• fully designed and printed plan
• quote of the plant material costs
• full plant list with horticultural and common names
• maintenance and installation notes on the plan
• information on how to care for your new landscape
• up to 10% discount on plants purchased for the design

Starting fees

$250 for the average yard, front or back

$450 if both front & back yards are to be included

for larger plans, we will be happy to give you an estimate

onsite consultations are also available for $150.  covers up to 2 hours
